Top 10 Signs He's Not For You

Normally I come across these "top 10" things and think... aahhh that was kind of basic lol. But this one I liked... I think its pretty on point so I wanted to share. Check it out ladies!

1. You have a list of things he needs to stop doing/saying/wearing if he wants your relationship to work. If you're fixating on his flaws, he's either not the one you want or you're not ready for a serious relationship. Cutting him loose allows you time to grow and gives you the opportunity to meet a guy whose flaws you can embrace -- or at least accept.
2. You don't trust him. A small dose of jealousy can be healthy, but if you're hacking into his email account, and going berserk when he goes out without you, something's wrong. If there's something about him that truly warrants your distrust, then perhaps he's not the right one for you.
3. You avoid conflict at any cost. Fighting is healthy. And, when done right (in the non-accusatory, rational sort of way), it can be a great way to air grievances, fix problems in your relationship, and come to a deeper understanding of each other. Ignoring problems is not the same as having no problems at all... even if it looks that way.
4. When you're sad, you don't turn to him for comfort. When you're a giant ball of tears and snot, do you lock yourself into the bathroom so he can't see you at your worst? If you're worried about scaring him away, one of you isn't ready for total commitment. Mr. Right should make you smile through your tears and be a calming, not stressful, presence.
5. One of you is struggling with an addiction. He's sweet. He's exciting. He loves you very much. But he loves his alcohol habit or his weekly gambling fix more. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you can change him or that your relationship will be strong enough to withstand the heartache that addiction will inevitably bring. An addict may be able to change, but he'll do so on his own terms.
6. You can't really imagine him as the father of your children. Ask yourself: Would he make a great parent? Is he financially responsible? Would he be an equal partner in your future together? If you have doubts, he's probably not the one.
7. Your long-term, non-negotiable goals in life are incompatible. You want kids; he doesn't. You go to church every week; he's an atheist. He lives in the country and doesn't want to move; you can't imagine ever leaving the city. Superficial differences can be overcome, but differences in basic values are harder to smooth over. Ask yourself: "Would I be willing to compromise on this?" If the answer is absolutely not, you may not be right for each other.
8. You don't respect each other. He puts you down in front of your friends and complains about you to his parents. You roll your eyes when he talks because there's just something about him that embarrasses you. A relationship without respect can't sustain itself.
9. You're not attracted to him. Physical intimacy is a hugely important component of a romantic relationship. If he doesn't do it for you, he's probably not your best long-term match.
10. On paper he seems great, but you have this strange feeling... Don't ignore your gut. You may get along on a superficial level, but if your instincts are telling you he's not the one for you, listen. That little voice inside your head does not lie.

Hope this helped! Courtest of www.yourtango.com

Rihanna States She Is Still Single

Pictures have been posted everywhere of Rihanna having a ball out and about with baseball player Matt Kemp. People speculating about their relationship and whether she is now with him. Rihanna sets the record straight according to US Weekly she was on 104.3FM in LA and she stated she is still single and will be attending the Grammy's alone this Sunday night. Well... I never even thought they were in a relationship.. she is a single gal and in her life style... going to an island or whatever is the norm... to me they seem like friends who are interested in eachother and time will tell. Do you Rihanna! Lol. And good luck as Rihanna is nominated for Best Rap/Song Collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West for the hit "Run This Town."

Jay Leno On Oprah Show Snippet

Check out Oprah for the full interview today on ABC 4pm eastern time. Jay Leno will return on the Tonight Show March 1st. This was such a crazy situation all over the news... but Jay is right... jokes are what they do for a living. People were making Jay out to be the bad guy in this but this is the nature of the business. If the network weren't going to get Jay back it would have been someone else. Good luck to both Jay and Conan.

ABC Cancels Ugly Betty

ABC has announced the cancellation of Ugly Betty. Premiering in 2006 starring America Ferrera, Ugly Betty will air their last show in April. Ratings for the show have dropped in recent years. ABC does confirm there are eight episodes left. I wasn't a dedicated viewer of the show however, did enjoy it when I did get the chance and I was proud of America Ferrera having the success she has had with the show. Best of luck in her future endeavors!

ABC Offers Paula Abdul $1,000,000

It's going around that ABC has made Paula Abdul a very sweet deal! They want her to compete on Dancing With The Stars and even will allow to her appear on Simon's Ex-Factor which will be on FOX at the amount of $1,000,000. Normally in contracts you can not appear on another show on a different network. So ABC must really want her on Dancing With The Stars. Now do I think it's fair to have Paula on the show... NO. I mean come on, she is a choreographer??!! She has taught some of the best... umm... Janet Jackson. So is it fair? No... and don't even argue the Mya point because she may have had some dance classes but nothing in comparison to Paula Abdul. So with that said, if Paula decided to take this deal... will I watch her on Dancing With The Stars... Absolutely! LOL.

Monique Takes Home Sag Awards & Speaks On Personal Abuse

Congrats to Monique once again! She took home a Sag Award for her role in Precious. The Sag Awards took place in LA Saturday night.
Monique discussed her personal struggle with abuse in a People interview last month, she said, “I know Mary Jones. I know that monster - that character for me, in my life, was my older brother.” Her brother molested her four times over the course
of four years. “When I confronted him and told my parents, he said I was lying, and nothing was really done,” Her brother later served 15 years in prison for sexually abusing another girl, and although he has never apologized to Mo’Nique, Precious helped her to forgive him: “I’m angry. I’m mad. I’m hurt. I’m crying, but doing this movie made me say, ‘You know what? I forgive.’ I forgive and I wish he would get the help that he needs, so no one else will go through it. It’s my obligation to let people know, and to tell them to watch their children.”
Wow... as hard as it must be, I am so happy Monique is at a place of forgiveness with her brother... that is a place of true happiness and growth.

Rep for Clooney says, “He's been on the phone for three days straight with almost no sleep,” “George knows how to do this well. Mystikal was sent to Louisiana's Elayn Hunt Correctional Center and has now been released. He did his first radio interview with New Orleans Q93. “Man it’s been a long time!” Mystikal says, adding that he kept his sanity in prison because of his religious faith. “It had to be God,” he said. “I couldn’t have done that. “It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades,” says Jolie.

Jay Z Speaks to Angie Martinez About His Beliefs

Yesterday Angie Martinez interviewed Jay Z on her show on Hot 97. He was there promoting his tour along with Jeezy and Trey Songz. Angie asked Jay to speak on the rumors going around about his beliefs and people calling him a devil worshiper.

“I don’t know where it started. I don’t know where it came from. I really think it’s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God. Am I a part of some sect or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It’s like ignorant to even say, and umm… I guess that’ll be the last time I address that. It’s ignorant to me”
Do you believe that those sort of organizations exist?
I think there are cliques of friends that control things. I don’t if there is a devil worshipping sect. That’s a little Tom hanks. I believe there are cliques of people that control the world…but that’s just natural process. I’m sure Obama has his people and everything is good but as far as how far people are taking it…
So you don’t intentionally do this to put people in a frenzy?
I’m an entertainer at the end of the day. Maybe I’ll push your buttons but you know…

Ha! He's such a comedian. Shout out to Angie for asking about this and to Jay for clarifying.

Conan O'Brien Issues Statement

People of Earth:

In the last few days, I've been getting a lot of sympathy calls, and I want to start by making it clear that no one should waste a second feeling sorry for me. For 17 years, I've been getting paid to do what I love most and, in a world with real problems, I've been absurdly lucky. That said, I've been suddenly put in a very public predicament and my bosses are demanding an immediate decision.
Six years ago, I signed a contract with NBC to take over The Tonight Show in June of 2009. Like a lot of us, I grew up watching Johnny Carson every night and the chance to one day sit in that chair has meant everything to me. I worked long and hard to get that opportunity, passed up far more lucrative offers, and since 2004 I have spent literally hundreds of hours thinking of ways to extend the franchise long into the future. It was my mistaken belief that, like my predecessor, I would have the benefit of some time and, just as important, some degree of ratings support from the prime-time schedule. Building a lasting audience at 11:30 is impossible without both.
But sadly, we were never given that chance. After only seven months, with my Tonight Show in its infancy, NBC has decided to react to their terrible difficulties in prime-time by making a change in their long-established late night schedule.
Last Thursday, NBC executives told me they intended to move the Tonight Show to 12:05 to accommodate the Jay Leno Show at 11:35. For 60 years the Tonight Show has aired immediately following the late local news. I sincerely believe that delaying the Tonight Show into the next day to accommodate another comedy program will seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting. The Tonight Show at 12:05 simply isn't the Tonight Show. Also, if I accept this move I will be knocking the Late Night show, which I inherited from David Letterman and passed on to Jimmy Fallon, out of its long-held time slot. That would hurt the other NBC franchise that I love, and it would be unfair to Jimmy.
So it has come to this: I cannot express in words how much I enjoy hosting this program and what an enormous personal disappointment it is for me to consider losing it. My staff and I have worked unbelievably hard and we are very proud of our contribution to the legacy of The Tonight Show. But I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is its destruction. Some people will make the argument that with DVRs and the Internet a time slot doesn't matter. But with the Tonight Show, I believe nothing could matter more.
There has been speculation about my going to another network but, to set the record straight, I currently have no other offer and honestly have no idea what happens next. My hope is that NBC and I can resolve this quickly so that my staff, crew, and I can do a show we can be proud of, for a company that values our work.
Have a great day and, for the record, I am truly sorry about my hair; it's always been that way.

My first reaction to Conan's statement is... wow... he is taking a big risk saying no. But I think I like that in him! However this may turn out... Good luck Conan.
